This week Clatworthy has fished very well, with both boat and bank anglers catching. Rowe’s end seems to favour the bank anglers on a floating lines but fished deep in the river channel, and those that head over to Syndercombe bank are picking up fish on small buzzers fished out in front of the trees. The boats have also found fish along Syndercombe and up in Dudderridge.
This week a total of 277 fish caught leaving an average of 3.0.
Jade and Paul Maynard After fishing the morning around Westcott bay they spent the evening out on the boat and came in both with their limits.

Tactics vary depending on the weather but most fish are still being caught on lures sub-surface. Plenty of fish were taken on blue flash damsel, cats whisker and orange lure. When the temperature picked up some anglers did well on buzzers, black gnat and blobs.Mike Smith caught the biggest fish this week, a lovely 10lb 8oz rainbow. R Short took a 5lb 7oz char and David Hallaran managed a 7lb 4oz rainbow.
